There are increasingly frequent rumours that Max Verstappen will not follow the path of his fellow world champions and could retire before them.
In the past, Verstappen himself has often stressed that he has many projects outside of F1 and does not want to grow old in Formula 1. It does not help that the FIA continues with the stream of demagogy that started in 2024, according to which drivers are constantly harassed and punished for any trifle... In one such emblematic case, Max Verstappen was attacked, and the four-time world champion driver of Red Bull Racing has not forgotten it:
“If I have to deal with these things, I clearly feel that this will affect my future vision of Formula 1. Of course, it is a great feeling to win and become world champion, but beyond that, I also want to feel good in what I do. If because of the restrictions imposed by the FIA I cannot be myself, then I have to change that certain future vision...” – Verstappen recently said, who is by no means alone in his negative opinion, having the full support of the entire drivers' union. If they continue to pull the lion's tail, two things can happen... But we leave that to your imagination.
