Those who follow Lewis Hamilton's debut with Scuderia Ferrari will have already noticed that the Briton is free of his usual idiosyncrasies. Elegant, measured, almost exemplary. Like a true sportsman! It seems that he does not do it of his own free will...
In fact, the seven-time world champion has "tried" to do some interesting things with the Italians as well, such as a deal with a clothing sponsor that was not agreed upon in advance. Hamilton announced during last week's tests that he will be the face and ambassador of a fashion brand called Lululemon. However, he forgot to inform Scuderia Ferrari and the team's official clothing partner, Puma. The Germans were so infuriated by the move that, apparently, Ferrari president John Elkann had to calm things down.
Eventually, with Elkann's special permission, Hamilton will be able to collaborate with the aforementioned company, but only on the condition that he takes into account Puma's commercial interests in the future. The consequence of the commotion is that Hamilton has been forced to dress normally (i.e. without any extreme divisive look) in Bahrain, and every day we have seen him wearing the official Scuderia Ferrari clothing provided by Puma.
"You can't be bigger than Ferrari..."
