The start of the season with the Australian Grand Prix is dangerously close, and at Red Bull not everything seems to be going well. At least, that's what the recent statement from the team's technical director suggests.
Pierre Wache has indeed reported that there is a certain degree of disappointment regarding the progress they have managed to make. And this seems to be considerably less than that of the big rivals, also the car does not really work as they would like and as they previously expected.
“The first day of testing, I think, went quite well. However, from the second day onwards, some problems arose, which prevented us from finding the right operating range. This, in the beginning, determines our competitiveness. At the moment it is a big problem… I think the opening will be very tight, because McLaren and Ferrari are faster than us,” Wache said optimistically despite the difficult situation.
