Red Bull warned on the first lap by taking advantage of the media visibility: Pierre Wache, technical director, reported that they are aware of the fact that the two teams mentioned in the title are realizing an irregular advantage regarding the flexibility of the rear wing.
There could also be a serious controversy in the Australian GP, unless the issue is addressed earlier, as it is possible that they will be sanctioned much earlier. An Italian media outlet suggests this, stating that, based on information gathered in the paddock, Red Bull has already prepared the necessary documents to file an official complaint. So it seems that the FIA will examine these rear wings anyway, and there is also the possibility that this has already happened, or will be done in the days (hours...) to come. This would be done nowhere else than at the two teams' headquarters, in Maranello and Woking, and if this happens before the Australian GP, it could influence the result.
An exciting week is expected before the season opener, but a contentious race weekend could follow.
