Is F1 taking inspiration from Pitt's film innovation?

L'F1 sta prendendo ispirazione dall'innovazione del film di Pitt?

Tóth Krisztián Márk |

It is very likely that Formula 1 could draw inspiration from an interesting innovation from the Brad Pitt film.

Anyone who has been to a motorsport event will have noticed that teams manually push their cars back to the pits, both after technical inspection and from parc fermé. The same applies to pit stop tests, which in F1 usually take place on Thursday during media day. Here, the mechanics are divided into two groups, one simulating the entry into the pit by pushing the car, while the other changes the tires and nose. In the film made by Brad Pitt, these scenes were filmed with a replica car equipped with an electric motor assist, specially designed for this purpose. Pitt has now stated that the teams have envied the idea coming from them and are considering installing an additional battery, which would be mounted only and specifically for these pit stop tests. This would reduce the need for human manpower and, thanks to a higher arrival speed, the simulation would also be more realistic.

An interesting idea, which could make the film team enter the history of Formula 1 in double measure / PITTstop :) /?
