The situation of Yuki Tsunoda, who was still promising a few days ago, has now become dramatic, as Red Bull Racing has openly declared that they will let him go.

“We are fully aware that if we cannot offer Yuki Tsunoda an opportunity to advance, then I really don’t see the point in keeping him. We failed to bring him to the parent team and we cannot afford to keep him in our junior team for many years to come. We need to let him go at some point so he can look for a better opportunity. Of course, we cannot completely rule out the possibility that he may still have an opportunity to advance, just as we cannot rule out that Racing Bulls are more competitive than in years past.
I spoke to Yuki, he accepted this situation, he remained motivated, he wants to show that he is the guy who can get the most out of RB. We will make sure to support them technically, next year they will also receive our rear end and gearbox. I hope that the team can grow, mature and that things can change very quickly... For example, would anyone have thought that Liam Lawson would be our driver in 2025, after just one year?
