Lewis Hamilton recently admitted that staying at Mercedes, which has shown little development for years, would have been a riskier choice for his career.
So, following his instinct, he landed at Scuderia Ferrari…
“In reality, every new opportunity is a leap into the unknown. No one can predict the future, when you change jobs, when you change teams, it is always accompanied by a risk. However, I think the real big risk is to remain stuck in a comfortable situation, because that only makes you presumptuous.
Following this - let's call it instinct, or even intuition - I signed with Scuderia Ferrari. I needed a challenge, because that's exactly what I need now. There are wonderful people, there are extraordinary opportunities here for me, I can't wait to work together and I believe that together we can achieve something truly special.
