For some strange reason, there is always great interest in the list of Formula 1 drivers' salaries, this time published by Forbes magazine.
Business magazine Forbes today published its "estimate," including base salaries and bonuses, in U.S. dollars, of the ten drivers in the championship who have earned the most this year. At the top of the list is the already four-time world champion Max Verstappen, who boasts 75 million.
Lewis Hamilton has nothing to be ashamed of, but the driver who is on the last step of the imaginary podium, Lando Norris, is already an abysmal distance from the top 2. It is interesting to note how much the bonuses influence the total. There are also curiosities, such as how more than humorous it is to see Carlos Sainz Jr. or Pierre Gasly behind Sergio Perez, but also the low base salary of Oscar Piastri is more than surprising...
