Today the Williams 2025 was presented and immediately put on the track, which received excellent feedback:
“Everything is going well, and that was demonstrated on the track today. We have made great progress in terms of quality, the guys in the factory have done a great job. We can definitely say that the FW47 is a clear step forward. Last year we lost a lot of time due to exceeding the weight limit, but we have improved the materials used and the production quality, which means we are starting from a much better position. Our previous car was very weak against the wind, and we have worked a lot on that, because it gave us quite a few headaches. The GPS data revealed that we also suffered a lot in windy conditions.
We have to see where the competition is, but overall, I am very positive. I would like to see the progress we are making, that we are in a good position, but it is already a very positive sign that we are basically operating as a top team. With the arrival of Carlos Sainz we have made a huge step forward, he is a great reinforcement for the team! Carlos had his best season ever last year, he gave a sensational performance. He will be a great reference for me, I can learn a lot from him, and I hope he can learn from me too.” – said with admiration Alexander Albon.
